Pro Street
The Pro Street has been developed as our toughest MTB frame, built for hardcore street riding. Taking note of the severe nature of street riding we really have put all our effort into creating the strongest frame possible.
The back end uses thicker gauge tubing on the chainstays and BB shell is also reinforced to prevent flaring.
Due to the nature of this frame and its use for street riding, it is singlespeed only with horizontal dropouts.
For 2007 we decided upon using a lighter weight head tube and slightly thicker toptube with open-ended top and down tube gussets - doing away with our trademark T45 head tube plates. These (pictured) are still available on request as a "classic" option stamped with either T45 or howies.
Grind plates can also be added to either chainstay for further strength. These are only recommended for those who regularly pedal grind and do not run pegs. Each plate added costs £10 and adds approx 4oz to the frame weight.
We were the first company to offer BMX hub spacing on the back of our Pro Street frame in order to run a BMX rear hub for a perfect singlespeed setup. You can also choose from 3 sizes of axle slot on your dropouts depending on if you wish to run a rear peg or not.
As you will see from the options below you can really customise your frame to your exact needs and these options include MTB (Euro) or BMX (U.S.) bottom bracket. You can also choose the toptube length you require from 3 lengths to suit your size.
This frame is built entirely for street riding and will definitely stand up to any abuse you can throw at it!
